It is often suggested that where we live helps to shape how we see the world. How do you think your experience, your ideas about the world, your education, opportunities, and interests would be different if you had grown up and attended high school in an urban/inner city areas OR in a rural area? Please consider drawing upon any real or imagined experiences you have had personally about urban/rural life, or those from pieces you have read as part of your studies at CHS/Epic.

I either get a ride or take 2-3 buses depending on the route I take.Mainly because I live very far.
ReplyDeleteWe do not live in Epic considering the school is medium sized and public. However, some students live near the neighborhood of the school while others, like myself, have to travel either by bus or car.

ReplyDeleteI usually take the bus to school in the morning and get a ride back home after school. At EPIC, the students who attend are neighborhood kids or live around the school's area.
ReplyDeleteEven to add on to what Breanna said, a lot of students also live a little distance away from the school. We all live in Chicago, but just in different parts.
ReplyDeleteI drive to school since I don't live in the my school's neighborhood. Some Epic students stay in the South Chicago area, Hyde Park, or Roseland.
ReplyDeleteI actually live right next door to EPIC. It takes me no longer than 1 minute to get to school.
